Board Of Directors Election

Call for Nominations

     Members of CHRVA have the right and the responsibility to nominate individuals to serve as their representatives on the Region’s Board of Directors. Elections for these important positions will take place by mail-in ballot and the results will be announced at the annual General Membership meeting.  See the General Membership Meeting Notice for date, time, location, and, directions.  Official mail-in ballots and voting instructions will be included in the March 2002 Chesapeake Digs Newsletters that are addressed to region members.

     Please see Board Membership and Composition for descriptions of the various seats that comprise the CHRVA Board.  To find out which Board seats are up for re-election in 2002, please look at 2002 Available Seats .  Details of the election process can be found in Article VII of the CHRVA Bylaws.      Nominations must be in writing (electronic or hardcopy) and must be received by the Chair of the Elections and Nominations Committee by March 1, 2002. Your nomination must include the name, address, and team affiliation (if registered with a team) of the nominee. Also, include a brief personal and volleyball related background statement of the nominee, a statement of consent signed by the nominee, and your name and telephone number.  Individuals may nominate themselves.
