The Discovery Sports Center is an impressive, brand
new, 8-court facility in Boyds, Maryland at which most of the competitions
will be held. It is part of the Maryland SoccerPlex at the South Germantown

Food and drink concessions are available for participants and spectators.
The number of teams slated to play in each
division is shown in the table below. Based on regular-season play, Division
Coordinators will invite teams to play in the Championships. Contact your
Division Coordinator for more details.
The winning team in each adult division and
each junior open division is eligible to have its team entry fee reimbursed
for the USAV National Championships. Further information is available
from CHRVA Commissioner Anne Hughes.
CHRVA plans to fully staff all Championship
Tournaments with first referees, relieving teams of this responsibility.
In order to retain their good standing in the Region, all referees with
a Regional or higher certification are required to work a full-day Championship
Tournament. Further information is available from CHRVA Referee Chair
Larry Liden.
The Region is also requesting that certified
scorekeepers volunteer their services at Championship Tournaments.
The teams participating very much appreciate being able to concentrate
on the competition rather than their officiating duties. If you are interested,
please contact CHRVA Scorekeeper Chair, Sue Wainio-Oato.
Other volunteer opportunities are available
as well! Your help with pre-tournament logistics and on-site Championship
Staff responsibilities would be greatly appreciated. For details, please
