Washington D.C. Pro Women’s Volleyball Tour!
Jennifer Bolger
The Washington D.C. Professional Women’s Volleyball team was formed to give former college all-stars a chance to continue playing at a high level and to raise funds for high school and club volleyball programs.

High school and club teams guarantee at least 100 fans in order to host matches.  At the conclusion of matches, pro players field questions from high school players about playing college volleyball and conditioning.  Parents and high school players can really learn a lot!  Pro players can provide suggestions for the recruiting process, encourage players to walk-on if their talent is not recognized immediately, and emphasize the hard work it will take to make and stay in a college volleyball program.

All matches will start at 7:30 p.m.  Admission is $6.  Matches are best three out of five to 25, rally scoring, and libero.

Remainder of Exhibition Schedule

Cassel’s Sports & Awards in Herndon, Virginia and Langley Image Center in McLean, Virginia have agreed to sponsor the team.  We hope to count on high school teams to provide volunteer public address announcers, scorekeepers, linespeople, and ticket takers, similar to their own home matches.  High school teams are also encouraged to find local businesses to donate gift certificates to use as prizes for in between game volleyball skills contests.
