Information on the upcoming USA Open Championships or “Nationals” to be held in Dallas, Texas this year may be found by accessing the USAV Website at http://www.usavolleyball.org/adult/02open.htm.  CHRVA specific information can be found on our website at http://www.chrva.org/Natinfo/2002/natinfo.html.  If you do not have access to a computer or have trouble downloading the forms, please feel free to call me so I may fax you anything that you might need.  My deadline for sending the forms to the National Office is April 1, 2002.  My email address is anne.hughes@chrva.org, and my phone number is 703-451-3082.  I will be happy to help you with any questions or problems you may have.

I will be at Nationals for the first half of the competition, staying at the Hyatt for meetings.  Should you have any problems while I am there, I will have copies of everyone’s registration information at my fingertips so just call my hotel room and leave a message.

Hopefully, by the time you receive this newsletter, Volleyball House will be up and running again.  We will welcome the reopening as soon as management resolves some of the problems it has encountered.  Everyone is working very hard to get this venue operational once more.  I am told the Volleyball House is well on its way to fulfilling Howard County requests and USAV-mandated insurance requirements.
