Clint Davis Stands Out Among Boy’s 18 and Under Teams

Every now and then we are fortunate enough to have a very talented and adept player come through our program.  A 6’1” senior from Wilde Lake High School in Columbia, Maryland, Clint Davis has been playing the sport since he was three years old.  He began developing ball control skills early on by playing pepper and outdoor doubles with his dad and older brother.

He joined Maryland Volleyball Program (MVP) at the age of 10 and started playing with the top 18s team when he was only 15 years old.  Despite the lack of boy’s high school volleyball in his school district, Clint has developed into a complete and all-around player.  As team captain for MVP Red, he plays the outside hitter position and occasionally takes on Libero and setting responsibilities.

He has participated in six East Coast Championships and six Junior Olympic Nationals.  Last summer, Clint was invited to the USA Development Camp in Kent, Ohio where he trained with other elite players from across the country.  We look forward to watching his continual development and success beyond his Junior Olympic years.  Way to go kid!
