The Sunday league in Silver Spring, Maryland
continues to attract new players. We had a West Virginia team visit us
in January to “test their mettle” in our league play. They enjoyed the
competition and want to come back on a regular basis. We have also heard
from another team in Fredrick, Maryland and will try to accommodate them
as well as the West Virginia guys. If we get enough interest, we will look
at additional venues in the area. Let’s hear from you. Call or email Denny

Monday, Wednesday, Friday morning play at
the Banneker Community Center in Catonsville, Maryland continues to flourish
with a full 25 member roster. The one court center handles the 18-20 players
that show up regularly. Membership is currently closed, but members can
bring a guest on Mondays. If you are interested in being a guest and/or
getting on the waiting list, call Tim Keeling, who is in charge
of the program, at 410-744-1753 or email kkeeling@loyola.edu.
Further, additional facilities and time slots are available if there is
enough interest to warrant it. Requirements for play are 50 years or older
and a skill level of BB or better.
The Tuesday night 60+ Pasadena Seniors League
continues to operate from the Fox Middle School gym. The league has been
around for 13 plus years. It was started by softball players who wanted
some activity during the winter months. The league varies from four to
six teams and would be a good place for a beginner’s team to start organized
