2004 Regional Championships

The 2004 CHRVA Championships will be held
on four weekends between March 27, 2004 and April 18, 2003.
Competition is planned for
more than 250 teams in eight adult and 20 junior divisions at the
Discovery
Sports Center in Boyds, Maryland. Other sites may be utilized to
accommodate variances in number of entries for a particular
division. Site directions can be found on the Regional Tournament

The latest and most complete information regarding the Regional Championship
Tournament Schedule is maintained on the CHRVA website at http://www.chrva.org/rgsched.html.
Based on regular season play, Division Coordinators will invite teams
to play in the Championships. Contact your Division Coordinator for
more details.
Trophies will be awarded to First and Second place finishers. Adults
will also be vying for prizes awarded to the “All-Tournament team.” Six
persons from each division will be selected by their peers and the
Championship staff. Of these six persons, one will be selected as “Most
Valuable Player.”
Please do not include “no ref” fees
with your entry, as CHRVA plans to fully staff all Championship
Tournaments with first referees. In order to retain their “good
standing” in the Region, all referees with a Regional or higher
certification are required to work at least one full-day Championship
Tournament. Further information is available from CHRVA Referee
Chair Larry Liden.
Please do include scorekeeper fees if your team does not have a certified scorekeeper, as scorekeepers will not
be provided. Also, if you do not have a scorekeeper, please notify the
staff when you check in so a scorekeeper can be assigned to your work
matches. Volunteer scorekeepers are also greatly appreciated and will
