| Elections were held at
the annual CHRVA General Membership meeting on Sunday, May 7, 2000, at
the Victory Villa Community Center, for the seven (7) Board seats available
in 2000. The following CHRVA Website links will provide a great deal of

for descriptions of the various seats that comprise the CHRVA Board. To

The candidates for the seven (7) available
seats on the Board included three (3) incumbents. The Board Members
choosing not to run for re-election were:
Jerry Hulla,
Jeff Maynard,
Dean Shumway, and
Kevin Sippel.
The candidates nominated prior to the April
1, 2000 deadline were:
Diane Abood,
Kelli Auletta (Withdrew from Election),
Jake Barkdoll (Incumbent),
JoBeth Killough (Incumbent), and
Rich Wilson.
Since there were fewer candidates (5) than available
seats (7) identified by the April 1, 2000 deadline, nominations were accepted
from the floor during the meeting. Nominations made from the floor
during the General Membership Meeting were:
Rod Anderson,
Wanda Hsiung,
J. Keith McMorris,
Scott “Scooter” Shipley, and
Sue Wainio-Oato (Incumbent).
Registered members of CHRVA in attendance at the
General Membership Meeting were asked to vote for at
most seven (7) of the nine (9) candidates for the Board of Directors.
Following a tally of the vote, the following candidates were elected to
the CHRVA Board of Directors for a 2-year term beginning 5/7/2000.
Diane Abood,
Jake Barkdoll,
JoBeth Killough,
Rich Wilson,
Rod Anderson,
Wanda Hsiung, and
Sue Wainio-Oato.
