Congratulations to all of our regional champions and all of those who participated.  We had a total of 12 junior regional championships spread out over five days.  What a feat!!  The open and club concept works well and now with the gold and silver divisions in the 18's and 16's, it offers championships to many teams.  This is what it is all about.  Karol Shadle did an outstanding job of organizing the regionals and we in the program, thank her for her time and energy in this endeavor.  A special thanks to those who helped at each of the Jr. Regionals:  Joe and Fran Cline, R.D. Randall, Rich Wilson, Fran Duvall, Skip Slawson, Gary Oncale, Greg Johnson, Joann Peters, Larry Liden and especially Tracy Shadle for all of his efforts in making sure we had all of our materials and Supplies.  Karol, he is definitely a "keeper."  Without the support of all of these individuals, we would not be able to run the regionals.  THANKS AGAIN!

Our age group coordinators did an outstanding job this past season, Fran, Rich, Skip, and Gary, nice job!  Fran Duvall will be stepping down as the 17/18 Coordinator.  Skip and Rich are moving up to the next age group and we are now looking for 12/13/14 Coordinator.  Anyone interested please let me know ASAP, computer skills are a plus.

More changes are coming in the GIRLS JUNIOR PROGRAM for 98-99.  I will be stepping down as Junior Coordinator and the commissioner is currently looking for a replacement.  It has been rewarding, but it's time for a change.  If you have a suggestion, please let him know at smithavo@erols.com.  However, I will remain as the Junior Sanction and Tournament Coordinator.
