This is a good year to start a team for the 2005 Olympics. In Towson this September, there will be a non-qualifying competition that will provide a good time to experiment with your team. The 2004 season will be the qualifying year for 2005. If you want to get on a team, let me know, and I’ll hook you up.

At the Nationals in Minneapolis, we had three teams medal: Bronze for MAC Classic in the 65s, Silver for MAC Nova in the 70s, and Gold for the MAC 75s, a great showing for the “old guys.”

If you want to know what’s happening in the 50+ age group, contact me at sr.mens.coord@chrva.org and, I’ll put you on the email announcement schedule. That, and this column will keep you informed of tournaments, leagues, and contacts. Let’s hear from you!
