Specially Designated Divisions
Steve Burinsky, Eligibility Chair
eligibility.chair@chrva.org

The newly revised CHRVA Handbook uses the term "Specially Designated" to refer to adult divisions that have certain eligibility requirements relaxed during the Adult Regular Season in order to promote competition in these divisions.  In past years, the Men's AA and Women's AA Divisions enjoyed this privilege.

The following bullets describe these special privileges.  Please consult the CHRVA Handbook for detailed descriptions.  Questions may be addressed to the Eligibility Chair, Steve Burinsky at eligibility.chair@chrva.org.

  • When playing with another team in CHRVA-sanctioned Adult Regular Season competition, an adult player on a team in a Specially Designated division may participate with any team of the same level and gender from his or her club any number of times as long as the player does not participate with more than one team during the same weekend.

  •
  • When playing in non-CHRVA-sanctioned USAV competition, a player on an adult team in a Specially Designated division may participate with any team of the same level and gender from his or her club an unlimited number of times.

  •
  • A player registered on an adult team in a Specially Designated division may transfer to another team of the same division in his or her club.
