Junior Scorekeeping and Officiating Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Each team is required to have a certified scorekeeper and certified referee.  Each team that does not provide a certified referee to officiate their work assignment during a tournament will be assessed a $50.00 “no referee” fee.  An $8.00 fee will be assessed for not providing a certified scorekeeper for your work team assignments.

SCOREKEEPERS

  1. Must attend scorekeepers clinic (adult or junior).  Teams are limited to four or five candidates per clinic.
  2. Complete the written exam.
  3. Score two matches successfully.  Must complete evaluation sheet which is approved and signed by Provisional, Regional, or National Referee.
REFEREES
  1. Must be a certified scorekeeper and attend a referee clinic (adult or junior).
  2. Complete the written exam.

The referee clinic will begin immediately after the scorekeeping clinic.  Bring your lunch!

REGISTRATION

Please send an email to arlene.geppi@chrva.org to pre-register your team members for each clinic.  Simply indicate the number of members attending since we need a count for each clinic.  No names are required.
