From Northern Virginia and the South (I-95/495 Washington Beltway to I-270 North): 
From Frederick and West (I-70 East to I-270 South):
 

1. Take I-270 to exit 15B (Route 118 South- Germantown)
2. Go about three miles on Route 118 (Germantown Road) - best to stay in center lane to minimize lane changes as road narrows.
3. Turn right on Richter Farm Road- sign for S. Germantown Recreational Park
4. Go 0.6 miles to stop sign and turn left onto Schaeffer Road.
5. Go 0.6 miles to traffic circle, enter circle, and go right onto Central Park Circle.
6. Go 0.5 miles to Discovery Sports Center building on right. Parking available in front.

1. Take I-695 (Baltimore Beltway) to I-70 West. Go about 25 miles.
2. Take exit 68- Route 27 South (Damascus).  You will go 14.6 miles on Route 27 South(Ridge Road/Father Hurley Boulevard) before the next turn.  Stay on Route 27 South through Damascus into Germantown.  Follow signs to stay on Route 27 South at the right, bear left, bear right jog in Damascus. 
3. After Damascus you will pass the Milestone Shopping center on the left and cross I-270.  Route 27 South changes name from Ridge Road to Father Hurley Boulevard at I-270.
4. After crossing Middlebrook Road, move into left lane.
5. Turn left onto Wisteria Drive (Father Hurley Blvd ends in T- intersection). Go about 0.5 miles.
6. Turn right at light onto Route 118 South (Germantown Road) - best to stay in center lane to minimize lane changes as road narrows. Go about two miles.
7. Turn right on Richter Farm Road- sign for S. Germantown Recreational Park.
8. Go 0.6 miles to stop sign and turn left onto Schaeffer Road.
9. Go 0.6 miles to traffic circle, enter circle, and go right onto Central Park Circle.
10. Go 0.5 miles to Discovery Sports Center building on right. Parking available in front.

Take either Northern (via I-70) or Southern (via I-95/495) route as described above.  Alternative direct scenic east-west route follows:
 
1. Take Route 32 West to Route 108. Take 108 west (left from ramp) toward Ashton and Olney.

You will go 15.5 miles on 108 from 32 before turning left on Brink Road in Laytonsville.
You will go through Ashton (cross Route 650/New Hampshire Avenue), Olney (cross Route 97/Georgia Avenue), cross Fieldcrest Road (blinking yellow lights) and pass the Laytonsville Fire Station (blinking yellow lights).
2. Turn left onto Brink Road at the light in Laytonsville.
3. Go 5.6 miles on Brink Road. You will cross Route 124 and go through the all way stops at Goshen Road and Wightman Road.
4. Turn left at the light onto Route 27 South (Ridge Road). Go 3.1 miles to next turn.

You will pass the Milestone Shopping center on the left and cross I-270. Route 27 South changes name from Ridge Road to Father Hurley Boulevard at I-270.
5. After crossing Middlebrook Road, move into left lane.
6. Turn left onto Wisteria Drive (Father Hurley Blvd ends in T- intersection). Go about 0.5 miles.
