two new electronic newsletters last month just for junior volleyball players
and their parents and coaches. The newsletters, one each for boys and girls,
contain information on high performance news, features and photos of club,

| The 2007 USA Junior
Olympic Girls' Invitational Championships, set for June 7-10 in Atlanta
at the Georgia World Congress Center, welcomes new features to the tournament
this year designed to give all athletes an enjoyable playing experience.

and CAP Level I
& II
courses in Parma, Ohio! Early Bird prices good through May 4, 2007!
Just announced! Dates for the CAP I and II in Minneapolis during the USA
Junior Olympic Girls' Championships: CAP I on June 28-30, and CAP II on
July 1-3, with additional Modules opportunities in the morning of July
4th. IMPACT Clinics will be offered from 1-5 pm on June 28, 29, 30, July
2, 3, 4. Registration links will be open soon - check the CAP Course Schedule
page for more information.
A CAP Level I course will be offered at the Boy's Junior Championships
in Atlanta on July 3-5, with IMPACT Clinics scheduled for July 3 and 7
from 1-5 pm. Additional Modules opportunities my also be scheduled for
the 6th and morning of the 7th. Registration links will be open soon -
check the CAP Course Schedule page for more information.
A Modules-Only Clinic will be scheduled in conjunction with the Girl's
invitational Tournament in Atlanta, (June 7-10) with exact course dates
yet to be determined.
A CAP Level I course will be offered July 20-21 in Ft.Lauderdale in conjunction
with the USAV Junior High Performance Championships. Registration links
will be open soon - check the CAP Course Schedule page for more information.
A CAP Level I Core course will be taught in conjunction with a 2-day VCAP
Conditioning clinic in Dallas, TX on July 26-28 at the Robert Brown Sports
Performance facility. CAP I students may take the Core day followed by
the 2-day VCAP Clinic to earn a complete CAP I certification, or may just
take the Core day only. In addition, a VCAP Instructor's course will be
taught on July 26th. Registration links will be open soon - check the CAP

| Joe Sharpless
and Daniel Leake, co-technical delegates for volleyball in the 2007
Special Olympic World Summer Games, announced the selection of six USA
Volleyball personnel for responsibilities with this October's Games in
Shanghai, China. Joe Campbell, Corney Galdones, Rick Laskey
and Bob Stanek were selected as officials. Debbie Reed will
serve as head scorekeeper, while Nancy Sommer will serve as head
referee. Click
here for more information...Allison Weston, captain of the 2000
U.S. Olympic Women's Volleyball Team, was inducted into the Nebraska High
School Sports Hall of Fame. She was a Nebraska All-State selection in three
sports (volleyball, basketball and soccer) at Papillion La Vista High School...Girls'
volleyball in the state of Michigan will move from the winter to fall season
after the United States Supreme Court denied a certiorari request
by the Michigan High School Athletic Association in its sports seasons
litigation. Hence, MHSAA will abide by lower court rulings to change seasons
for several sports. Michigan was the last state to offer girls' volleyball
outside of the now traditional fall season...The 2007 National Senior
Games is seeking officials and volunteers for the event scheduled July
2-7 at Louisville, Ky. For details, click
here...The NAIA Men's National Tournament has selected and seeded
its six-team field set for competition April 12-14 at Riverside, Calif.
California Baptist is the host and top seed, followed by Park, Lindenwood,
Missouri Baptist, Missouri Valley and St. Ambrose. For further information,

here...Men's volleyball will start competing as an intercollegiate
varsity sport in the spring 2008 semester at St. Andrews Presbyterian
College, announced Howard Reichner, athletic director. For additional

recently inducted into the C.W. Post Athletic Hall of Fame. |
