a coach and regular weekly practices held each Thursday, 8-10pm, at the
"I-Think-I-Can" Elementary School in Columbia. We would
like to play as many as 3 weekends out of 4 and have traveled to Delaware

This is our third year
together. Last year we got bumped down to B and dominated. Winning point
champs, and regional champs. We went to nationals for the first time, and

Smack That
We are looking for two strong
left side hitters who can consistently put the ball away and are also good
at serve receive and playing defense.
We are also looking for a strong libero who while on the court can take
control of it and be a leader in defense.

We are DBR volleyball.
We are a bunch of guys who are loud, obnoxious and love playing ball.
This will be our second year together. After losing some people from last
year we will be holding open tryouts on Thursday October 5th from 7:30pm to
9:30pm at Walter Johnson High School (6400 Rock Spring Dr, Bethesda, MD
20814). Hopefully we will be able to fill our current roster and add

Volley Vixens
Our USAV team is now in need
of a middle hitter/blocker! We are currently playing in a women's 6's
league in Gaithersburg, MD and are hoping to find a middle who wants to
start playing with us and work towards the USAV season. In addition to aggressive
blocking and hitting, we are also looking for tough and consistent serving,
experience, and a fabulous attitude on (and off) the court. We have
players in Maryland and Virginia, practice once weekly on Thursday nights
during the season (close to the 270-495 split), and plan to compete in 2
tournaments per month. We play at the BB level (though are hoping to move
up soon), have coaching assistance, and consist of a great group of women
who are fun, easy to get along with, and have a competitive edge. We're
still a fairly new team, but what we lack in USAV experience we make up for
in enthusiasm and solid playing.

facility in NE Baltimore County. Team plays in 10-12 tournaments per

RVC Street Legends
I have been running teams for
a number of years and have played in Nationals all but 1 year since
1996. We are a very talented team, but have had roster problems as of
late. We NEED a middle, possibly 2, an OH and possible OPP.
Right now we have a setter, but he is also an OH if we fall short on
finding an OH, and luck out finding a good setter. We will be playing

I just found out that we are
losing our setter to a job transfer. Ugh, talk about bad timing! Qualities
that we are looking to replace include good hands (of course), tough and
consistent serving, the ability to block and hit, and experience. I'd
prefer a dedicated setter to run a 5-1, however, we can run a 6-2 with the
players we have on our roster now. We have players in Maryland and
Virginia, practice on Thursday nights at a school not to far from the
495/I-270 split heading into Maryland, and our goal is to play in about 2
tournaments per month. We play at the BB level, have semi-regular coaching
assistance, and consist of a great group of women who are fun, easy to get
along with, and have a competitive edge. We've already played in 2
tournaments and have proven to be a solid team. We're a new team, but what
we lack in USAV experience we make up for in enthusiasm. And, since we
don't have a deep roster, everyone gets lots of playing time!

and outside hitter to replace a couple of injured and relocated
players. We are a close-knit, diverse team with a long history of

Getting Higher VB Club - Cancun Cantina

We are the women's team
"Cancun Cantina" of the Getting Higher VB Club. We are looking to
replace three players that have moved out of state. We need aggressive
players that can practice on Sundays from 3-5pm in Glen Burnie,MD. We
will also be practicing during the week at Washington Bible College in
Lanham, MD. In addition, we will be playing in a womens leauge on
Friday nights in Annapolis. We are very organized, have uniforms, team
account, sponsorship etc. and will be attending Nationals in Denver in
May/June 2005 with our men's team.We have great attitudes with no drama and
have lot's of social events with our men's team. Please call if interested.
We will be trying players out starting the second Sunday in September.

Catalyst Men's Volleyball Club

like to have fun both on and off the court. However, we are very
