Welcome to the CHRVA Juniors Site

CHRVA Competition & Skills Clinic

CHRVA is pleased to announce the kick-off of its inaugural Premier Skills Camp.  For a number of financial and logistical reason, the HP program will not send teams to attend the HP Championships.  Rather, the HP program will offer a camp that is designed to provide instruction from, and exposure to, coaches at various levels of collegiate coaching.  This  two-day camp is open to registered CHRVA members and is run in a highly energetic and fun environment.

There are multiple sessions per day, with one session devoted solely to discussion on playing in college and going through the recruiting process. Coaches are available to participants in order to demystify the challenging process, from athlete exposure to competing on a college team.

Read the information on the camp flyer to the left and then register online using your CHRVA/USAV Webpoint login.

Register early - spots are limited.

Solid Color Jersey Rule Has Been Reversed

A motion was made and passed to change the wording of USAV Rule 19.2 to read as: “The Libero(s) must wear a uniform which clearly contrasts with the rest of the team.” A second motion was passed that made the implementation of the new rule immediate.  The new rule replaces the "Solid Color Jersey" rule.

What this means is that the rule reverts back to the libero must be clearly contrasting from the rest of the team.  Neither the rest of the team nor the libero need to be in a solid color jersey.  However, please note that the two entities still MUST be contrasting
